Teknic-ClearPath has 7 repositories available. Follow their code on GitHub. Teknic manufactures two 75VDC power supplies designed specifically for powering motor drives—the IPC-3 and IPC-5. These supplies effectively manage peak current demand, regenerated energy, and include several built-in protective features. They are ideal for use with ClearPath motors. Teknic IPC-3 Teknic IPC-5 ClearPath is a professional level, industrial grade product.

I am pumping a viscous fluid into a 4 containers with different volumes. I am looking for help approaching this project. I need help wiring this motor to the arduino and help picking a way to control it. ClearPath-SD combines a step & direction vector servo drive, brushless servo motor, and high-resolution encoder into one compact package. Two models are available: the SDSK model, which has 2-3 times the power of similar size stepper systems; and the SDHP model, which has 8-15 times the power of similar size steppers.

It is okay for the units to have reasonable wear and tear from using them, but they must be returned in their original packaging (or comparably protective packaging) and still be fully functional (i.e., they must still meet ClearPath-SD is also an easy upgrade over stepper motors giving you smoother, quieter, and more precise closed-loop motion. The MC-series is the easiest way to get high-performance motion control. Select one of ten operation modes, and control position, velocity, or torque with just simple digital signals.

Teknic Clearpath-SC and LinuxCNC was created by AardvarkTech First let me say that I am NOT affiliated with Teknic in any way, and this is not a sales pitch. I'm a machinist, CNC programmer, and manufacturing engineer, and I've used ClearPath motors (mostly NEMA 34 MCPV versions) at work for various automation tasks and am interested in exploring other applications.

Teknic IPC-3 Teknic IPC-5 ClearPath is a professional level, industrial grade product. The motor is based on Teknic’s Hudson family of brushless servo motors, with the same instrument grade bearings, stainless steel shaft, windings, magnets, and encoder technology. The ClearPath-SDSK model allows you to precisely servo-control position (and velocity) using “step & direction” (or quadrature A/B) command signals. These digital signals are commonly used to control stepper motors and digital servos, so they are available from a wide variety of products including Diving into Teknic's ClearPath servos and how much they have impressed me on my CNC machine. The ClearPath SDSK servo's in this video.----- Based on the comments and emails from the first review a deeper dive into Teknic ClearPath Servos. Hello, I am new to labVIEW and for my first program I would like to try and control a servo motor made by a company called teknic (clearpath SC). Currently we have been running our motors with PWM and have to define torque conditions with a separate program on setup. I want to have the ability to ha Controlling a ClearPath Motor using a PLC. In this example, we’ll be controlling one of Teknic’s ClearPath brushless DC servo motors (Important: This is for the SK and HP line of ClearPath Motors only). We like Teknic. They make great motors and have very helpful support staff. Learn more about their motors here.

I will be using Teknic's IPC-5 75VDC power supply But before you can wire up you Masso controller you have to power up the Clearpath servos and plug them in to a PC with the ClearPath USB-B cable and it absolutely has to be their cable I've already tried 5 others, now I'm waiting for UPS to deliver a "Teknic Certified" USB cable. ClearPath uses proprietary circuitry and firmware to continuously minimize the effects of sensor inaccuracies. RAS™ Jerk Limiting Technology Teknic uses a proprietary algorithm in all of its products that can convert traditional motion profiles into profiles that are jerk limited and jerk-derivative limited. This makes the motion ultra-smooth, resulting in quieter, cooler operation, and longer life for mechanical parts. Using the optimal input voltage ensures that you will achieve the most torque, speed, and power from your particular ClearPath motor. Although ClearPath motors are designed to operate across a wide range of input voltages, using a lower input voltage may reduce the motor's speed, torque and shaft power. ClearPath input voltage ranges: Trigger ClearPath to move to one of the two preset positions.
